The IKON UD 31.8 Carbon Handlebar showcases an industry first for Carbon BMX Bars - an Internal Carbon Cross Reinforcement - An internal cross support from the upper bend area continued to the clamping area of the bars to greatly help increase the strength and stiffness while not sacrificing the overall weight. IKON Tapered Aero shape tubing also adds strength and a unique look for the best Carbon BMX bar available today.

IKON bars are made with UD Carbon. UD - (Uni Directional) is a process of carbon weave type where all the fibers are running in a single, parallel direction. This makes it incredibly strong, while keeping the item incredibly light and stiff/strong. UD carbon fiber is often used for F1, Hi end car bodies, racing boat hulls, and aerospace rockets.
