DiaCompe 883 rear BMX brake caliper - brand new production. Features the new retro brake blocks and cone dress up nut on the pivot bolt. Model: 883 Approximate Reach: 68mm - 86mm Application: REAR, side pull caliper Features: Quick release lever, Dia-Compe thumb adjuster Mounting hardware included NOTE: This is the same caliper as the "Nippons" from back in the day - but, since these are now made in Taiwan and not Japan, they no longer say "Nippon" on them. This was a popular quality brake used on the retro old school BMX Bikes from back in the 1980-1990s.
Period correct for rebuilding freestyle bmx bikes from the 1980s and early 1990s.
