A meal is only as good as its ingredients, and at the heart of the Cook Bros. Racing Stainless Headsets are two, super-smooth, 45×45, sealed bearings covered by a coating of titanium nitride and filled with stainless steel balls. The titanium coating delivers a low friction coefficient, increased corrosion resistance and smoother rolling surfaces. Stainless steel balls further increase corrosion resistance. Cruise longer and smoother. 

But there is more! Despite this being a threadless headset with cups, the 45x45 bearings also work in integrated headset applications. Toss the cups, pop the bearings in your new frame, and roll!

A reusable, anodized aluminum, compression plug eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1 1/8-inch steerer tubes,even carbon fiber, making this the most versatile headset system ever.

A split aluminum crown race makes installation and removal from forks super easy, allowing you to spend more time riding and less time fussing.

Titanium nitride coated 45x45 bearings with stainless steel balls which can also be used as integrated headset without cups. That’s Grade A quality !

Aluminium expander plug is compatible with chromoly, aluminum and carbon fiber 1 1/8” steerer tubes
