Finally, the 3rd Generation Peregrine Master BMX Mag wheelset returns in a series of classic Limited Edition 1980s colors.

Utilizing an original New Old Stock wheelset, we created a plan to bring this iconic mag wheel back into production to serve the needs of the retro and vintage BMX market. Manufactured in the USA by Custom Engineered Wheels - owners and manufacturers of the Skyway BMX wheel - This 3rd Generation Peregrine Master wheel is produced to align with original standards and interfaces while benefitting from an upgrade to a sealed bearing. It’s 10 mm axle enables easy installation on any old-school BMX bike, along with many of the market's vintage replica and reissue bikes.

Here, we launch a series of exciting new colors chosen to compliment mid 1980s Freestyle bikes and market demand. Choose from Kiwi (A popular late 1980s Redline color), Magnesium Gray, Dreamsicle, Neptune, and in line with demand, another batch in black. Customers who purchase three or more sets will receive a 10% discount as well as free shipping within the United States.

In addition to creating and introducing these new beautiful colors, we also dedicated time to evaluating and enhancing the hub engineering. We replaced the standard 10mm axle with a 4140 case-hardened chromoly steel version. The new axle features integrated shoulders that support the bearing and eliminate the need for separate threaded nuts. To enhance the appearance of the hub, we developed and manufactured a 7075 anodized aluminum bearing cover with an integrated cone nut, providing a cleaner look and better insulation and protection for the bearing. Ultimately, the new hub is superior to the standard version and will ensure the smoothest and most efficient ride.
